About
Hey, I'm Danny!
Before I edited full time, I worked for my local martial arts gym where I managed their social media. Not only did I edit videos, but I also created flyers, came up with different deals, and helped set up smokers with my coach, helping him grow his business in the process. I also ran my own YouTube channel for fun, documenting my own martial arts journey.
These experiences helped me understand the ins and outs of running a business, and what making content is like from the perspective of both an editor and a creator. With those experiences, I decided to pursue editing and make something out of it.
It was difficult at first, but I began working with multiple creators and improving my editing in the process. I really started to fall in love with editing. Something about building and finishing a story was so satisfying, and I began obsessing over my craft.
However, I also started seeing the ugly side of editing. I've seen too many creators get burned by editors who ghost, miss deadlines, and never bring any creativity to their work.
